In partnership with the U.S Department of Energy, Batelle Engineers NW, and GeoSafe, Mid-Mountain Materials, Inc. developed a Geodesic Dome Tent that was used for containing emissions and retaining heat during in situ-vitrification of the ground to eliminate any hazardous waste. Mid-Mountain’s ARMATEX^®Coated Fabrics were used to produce this tent, which, in turn, was assembled by the company’s fabrication team.
