The establishment of a transference network between southern France, Portugal and Spain for the applications of carbonaceous nanoparticles-based materials in the construction and automotive industries is one of the objectives of the project, apart from developing new materials for numerous applications.
The CarbonInspired Project has established a partnership network between private and public R+D+I organizations to convey knowledge to the firms in the southwest of Europe, particularly to medium and small enterprises, for developing products and methods based on new carbonaceous nanoparticles.
High-efficient thermal insulation foam, economical fire-retardant construction panels and self-lubricating engine parts are some of the products that can be produced by the new materials.
