硅Quest International(SQI)很高兴宣布其新材料工程部门的开发,其中包括动手技术咨询和业务开发服务。欧洲杯足球竞彩The new department will provide materials and processing expertise for semiconductor companies, especially for start-up companies in the areas of MEMS, analog applications, telecommunication, etc. Spearheading the launch of this department is SQI’s new Vice President of Technology and Product Development, Dr. Zbigniew Radzimski.
SQI’s in-house production capabilities will support these efforts, from wafer thinning and backgrinding to films deposition and beyond. “With our Materials Engineering Department,” said Richard Mee, SQI President, “we will be able to broaden our product and service offerings, create better product awareness, and, most importantly, extend long-term relationships with customers on a business development basis.”
As the head of the Materials Engineering Department at SQI, Dr. Radzimski will provide his expertise to inquiring companies developing products within the semiconductor industry. “With its existing manufacturing capabilities and diversified family of customers, I see SQI as an exciting place not only to exercise my technical knowledge but also to grow aggressively within the company,” said Dr. Radzimski.
Also joining the SQI staff on August 1st is Dr. Fritz Kirscht of Berlin, Germany. He will be assisting Dr. Radzimski as a technical advisor and consultant for SQI, while also concentrating on European business development. Dr. Kirscht comes to SQI with an extensive background in silicon research and semiconductor physics. He has numerous patents stemming from his years in wafer tailoring projects in the device and wafer industries, including US patents documenting his impact on creative product development. In recent years Dr. Kirscht was the Director of Materials Evaluation & Research at SUMCO (formerly Mitsubishi Silicon America); he then worked on the development of FZ-Si for photovoltaic applications for the Institute for Crystal Growth in Berlin.
Richard Mee said, “We couldn’t be more excited about Drs. Radzimski and Kirscht joining the SQI team and Materials Engineering Department. Their expertise in the semiconductor industry, and even further, in silicon engineering, will play a key role in this exciting time in SQI’s growth.”
